2017

Reproducir vídeo

The film highlights some of the struggles these refugees have gone through since the conflict broke out in December 2013 in the world’s youngest nation. They have each struggled to begin rebuilding their lives again, they each carry hope and a determination to experience a better future, for themselves, their families, and their nation. They remind the world that they are really just like you and me: they have dreams, aspirations, and names too.

Short video shot in Kakuma(Kenya) and Arua(Uganda) for Oxfam and The IRC about the plight, community resilience and solidarity of South Sudanese refugees that have fled their country in search of a better life. Every refugee has a storey. Every refugee has a name. This film captures the storeys of 9 South Sudanese refugees. Shooted for World Refugee Day 2015.
